Meditative Visualization when feeling overwhelmed:
Imagine your mind as the sky, your thoughts as the clouds, and your breath as the wind that blows your thoughts away, opening space for the awareness of blue skies and light. ♡

Why use this visualization? Often times our mind is cluttered with anxieties or things of the past and future. This creates a cloud over the importance of presence in our life experiences. We can become overwhelmed by all the things to do and people to please that we overlook the peace and joy along the way. We overlook the blessing of simply existing as one vibration being in the web of life.
Alan Watts has a wonderful meditation that provokes us to be in witness of our outer world as an orchestra of sounds. Do not attach to where the noises are coming from or where they are going, just let them exist. The same with your inner world, your thoughts and sensations of the body. Just be in observation of them without analyzing. Let them come and let them go with your breath. This is the root of meditation. Simply listen and appreciate existence in the NOW.
